- The average deck takes 2 weeks to build, but each deck project is different.

- No. I currently build beautiful new ones.

- You bet! You receive detailed prices of the project on the 1st appointment in most cases.
- What type of deck do you suggest for this Colorado climate?
- A pressure treated frame topped off with a quality composite product.
- What type of decking will scratch less with big dogs?
- Any of the Brazilian Hardwoods will do for that request.
- How often will I have to apply sealant to my wood deck and do I need to sand?
- In most cases every year, no matter what the can says. Sanding and power washing may be necessary every few years, depending on your exposure to the elements.
- Is composite decking slippery, especially when wet?
- Not really any slipperier than wet redwood decking. The embossment into the composite decking gives a texture that helps with traction.
- Will my composite deck fade to a different color?
- That will depend on what brand you use, of the 20 different brands for sale out there. In general, quality composites decks seems to fade and lighten up slightly with time. This is caused from the oxidation of exposure to the sun. Some brands will change colors completely, so be careful in your search.
- Will my framing members also be made of composite material?
- There are currently no composite structural members available.
- Can you get my deck done quickly, so that I may enjoy it this summer?
- Only if you can order quickly in the winter or early spring.
